Architect Lorenia Lizarraga
Lorenia is a visionary architect and educator with a passion for innovative design and sustainable practices. Her unique approach to architecture has evolved over 25 years working in the field. Lorenia has designed and built over 50 bespoke homes, patios, pools and landscapes that blend functionality with aesthetic beauty.
Lorenia holds a Masters and PHD in sustainable development. She is the Director of Responsible Labor (DRO) in La Paz, and a member of the executive committee for College of Architecture (CABACS) in Baja California Sur. Lorenia inspires the next generation of architects as a professor of Architecture Design and Theory at the Instituto Tecnologico de Mexico in La Paz. Likewise, her students contribute a fresh perspective to Lorenia’s approach to design and construction in BCS.
Lorenia’s global travels allow her to source diverse materials and draw inspiration from cultures around the world, enriching her design philosophy and the projects she undertakes.
